One Way Traffic and New Carpool Procedures
Thank you for your patience and support as we refine and improve our new carpool procedures at Andersen. We are pleased with progress we are making to keep traffic flowing at arrival and dismissal. You can continue to help us keep the carpool running safely and efficiently by doing the following:
- Please allow your child to exit and enter your vehicle without leaving your driver’s seat. Our carpool area helpers will do their very best to support students as they exit and enter cars. Drivers should stay seated safely behind the wheel.
- Please display your Carpool Tag at the end of the day so we can connect students with vehicles as quickly as possible.
- When you exit the carpool area, be sure to continue straight through the intersection where our patrol leader and the crossing guards are stationed. We will no longer allow cars to turn on left or right on 2nd Ave. N. in that intersection. Please continue to the intersection of 4th St. N and 1st Ave. N to make your turn.
We are grateful to work in partnership with you to make sure our students arrive and depart safely from Andersen. Thank you!
